Mackinac Island Wedding

Mackinac Island holds a special place in Meghan and Garrett’s hearts, so much so that they planned their Northern Michigan Destination Wedding there.  Their wedding was held at the incredibly beautiful Inn at Stonecliffe, on the west side of the island, overlooking the stunning Mackinac Bridge.  To kick off the weekend of celebration, they embarked upon a Friday evening boat tour with Sip and Sail that traveled around the island and under the Mackinac Bridge at Sunset.

The following day was a day in which their dreams came true.  Meghan and Garrett were married on the back lawn of the Inn overlooking the Mackinac Bridge and surrounded by family and friends.  It was a relaxing morning of preparation followed by a first look at Sunset Rock.  As Meghan walked up to Garrett, the wind blew and you could feel their anticipation.  When Garrett turned to see Meghan he had tears in his eyes and a smile of joy and love on his face.

They then took a beautiful horse drawn carriage ride around the island for photos and a little quiet time prior to the wedding.  When they returned to the Inn at Stonecliffe, they married and the celebration began. From the incredible food, to the amazing music by Blue Water Kings, to a lively game of football with the children in the yard, Meghan and Garrett and their family and friends enjoyed their evening.
