Farmguide Fieldhouse Wedding

The Fieldguide Farmhouse AirBnB is a gorgeous home nestled on the shores of Intermediate Lake and surrounded by beautiful locust trees and nature. It is an incredible location for a destination wedding as it is just outside of Traverse City and Charlevoix, on the west side of Michigan.

During their engagement photo session last year at the Empire Bluffs Trail, I learned that Kristen and Robbie have a huge love for nature, specifically trees.  And being married at the Fieldguide Farmhouse, under the Locust Trees, in Northern Michigan and on Intermediate Lake made this the perfect destination wedding venue for them.

All of the ladies prepared for the wedding day inside the Farmhouse overlooking Intermediate Lake, while the gentlemen prepared for the day at Shanty Creek.  To prepare for the nerves that can come with the wedding day, Kristen and Robbie opted for a first look and followed that up by saying their vows to each other privately. It was an incredibly lovely and romantic moment.

Following their first look, Kristen and Robbie married under the Locust Trees (and beneath a stunning wooden arch made by Robbie) in the back yard and began their celebration all around the Farmguide Fieldhouse property.  Family and guests enjoy dinner under a tent with twinkle lights and candles set up by Juniper and Lace Events, and continued the celebration on the property overlooking Intermediate Lake and watching the beautiful Northern Michigan Sunset.

As the celebration continued into the evening, everyone enjoyed the fire pit with Smores and great dancing was had!  Congratulations Kristen and Robbie.  It was such an incredibly magical day for the two of you and I am so glad to have been a part of capturing your wedding celebration!  Much love and appreciation, Rayan.
